The Steve Arnott Soccer Challenge

Fundraising

With the support of the sponsors, players, friends and family, the 2011 tournament raised over $6000.

Message from the Hospital:

"This has been an enormous effort from all concerned and on behalf of the oncology ward a sincere thank you.

As you have seen, there is a need for another "Thompson 600" Chair that can be used as a bed, to assist in the care of patients and some outdoor furniture to brighten up the lives of patients undergoing treatment.

I propose to have a plaque made in memory of Steve Arnott and to raise further awareness of the legacy of the Steve Arnott soccer Challenge.

It was an honour and privilege to be involved in your event and to
wittness the spirit in which the Steve Arnott Soccer Challenge was
played and organised was a credit to all the hard work put in by
everyone involved.

You did the game proud, as well Steve's memory."
